Cold rolled coil 

Cold-rolled sheet (annealed) :

The cold-rolled sheet is annealed under the hood before rolling, and the work hardening phenomenon and internal stress are eliminated (greatly reduced) after annealing,
that is, the yield strength is reduced close to the cold rolling before.

The cold-rolled sheet coil consists of sheet and coil, which is rolled at room temperature and below the recrystallization temperature.

Among them, the delivery of sheets is called steel plate, also known as box plate or plate; The long length and roll delivery are called steel belts, also known as roll plates.

Coil

Coil is a kind of plate in steel, which is actually a thin steel plate that is long and narrow and supplied in rolls.

The difference between a roll and a plate is a cut package.

Chilled coil is hot rolled coil through pickling and cold rolling. It can be said that it is a kind of cold rolled sheet coil.

Cold rolled coil (annealed) : hot rolled coil is obtained by pickling, cold rolling, hood annealing, leveling, (finishing).

There are three main differences between the two:

1. In appearance, the general chilled coil is a little faint.

2. surface quality, structure, dimensional accuracy and other cold-rolled plate is better than cold-rolled plate.

3. in terms of performance, due to the cold-rolled coil directly obtained by the cold-rolled process, the cold-rolled coil occurs work hardening during cold rolling,
resulting in an increase in yield strength and residual part of the internal stress, and the external performance is relatively "hard", so it is called cold-rolled coil.

Therefore, the yield strength: the cold-rolled coil is greater than the cold-rolled coil (annealed), which makes the cold-rolled coil (annealed) more conducive to stamping.

Generally, the default delivery condition of cold rolled coil is annealed.

Application:

Cold Rolled Coil is widely used, such as automobile manufacturing, electrical products, rolling stock, aviation, precision instruments, food cans and so on.

Cold-rolled steel sheet is the abbreviation of ordinary carbon structural steel cold-rolled sheet, also known as cold-rolled sheet,
commonly known as cold plate, sometimes mistakenly written as cold tie plate.

Cold plate is made of ordinary carbon structural steel hot rolled steel strip, after further cold rolling to make a thickness of less than 4mm steel plate.

Because it is rolled at room temperature, no oxide sheet is produced, therefore, the surface quality of the cold plate is good,
the dimensional accuracy is high, coupled with annealing treatment,
its mechanical properties and technological properties are better than the hot-rolled sheet steel, in many fields,

The hot rolled pickling coil is rolled continuously at room temperature. Because it has not been annealed, its hardness is very high (HRB greater than 90),
the machining performance is very poor, and only a simple directional bending process of less than 90 degrees (perpendicular to the winding direction) can be carried out.
